Emergency Manager Joyce Parker has announced the appointment of three community leaders, who have strong ties to the City of Highland Park, to serve on the Highland Park Public School Academy System Board. Andre Davis, local entrepreneur, Marcia Cotton, Deputy Controller in the City of Ecorse, and Archer Collins, former Public Works Director in the City of Ecorse, will oversee the establishment and operation of the charter school system designed to provide the students of Highland Park with the quality education they deserve.
